Empowering individuals to learn, grow & thrive.

The JRC agency is comprised of two 501(c)(3) private nonprofit businesses often serving low to moderate income children, seniors and families.

Our mission is to enrich lives through educating children, engaging seniors and strengthening community. We envision a world where people are inspired and empowered to reach their fullest potential every day.

Our programs at work.

At our Early Learning & Preschool Center, kids get a head start, making it easier for parents to work or study without worry. Seniors stay safe in their communities, giving caregivers a little more peace of mind.

Our past & Future

Our History

JRC was founded in 1974 as an outreach ministry of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio. Father John Robert Coleman brought services to the people of the northeast Canton community through his daily example and vision. Although JRC is not a faith-based organization, we still honor Father Coleman's vision to educated children, engage seniors and strengthen community.
